      In addition to performing the standard FP&A tasks (monthly forecasts, management reporting and annual operating budgets), I was the finance project lead for implementing all divisional projects for Gap Canada which included the Brand Specific Productivity Reporting and Indirect Alignment Reporting projects. These projects enhanced brand visibility and allowed for more accurate divisional benchmarking for senior leadership, ultimately improving strategic decisions.

      Reporting to the finance director and senior management team, provided financial and business analytics support which included developing financial models for reporting/forecasting/budgeting to identify risk areas, analysis for all director project requests, capital budgeting as well as end to end execution of the budget process.• Quarterly Forecasts – Developed forecasting models for sales, personnel, productivity, marketing, rebates and travel to generate more accurate forecasts, which consistently resulted in a +/-2% accuracy to actuals.       Leveraging technical, data and business knowledge, I provided Target Canada leaders key business insights that support the development of actionable initiatives and solutions to address business challenges.Key Achievements:• Leading Cross Functional Projects - Led many cross functional team projects from the reporting aspect to resolve company wide issues including the “Get Clean” and Future NOP initiatives which included teams from Store Ops, Merch Ops, Merchants, MP Ops, MPD, MFA, IAA as well as the ELT. This resulted in actionable insights such as purges at the stores/DC’s to clear backroom space, $5 Get Clean initiative, inventory write-downs/shrinkage in IAA/MFA and merchant markdowns before end of life. • Creating a Suite of BI Reporting Solutions & Insights - Partnered with other businesses to understand their business needs and design/build/test actionable BI reporting solutions. Produced over 10 critical reports for day 1 reporting as well as over 20 ad-hocs and insight decks (basket analysis, space productivity analysis, shrinkage analysis, etc.) for senior leadership after store openings. Once the reports were in run state, they were successfully transitioned to Target India for execution through documentation and training.• Plan and Forecast Reporting Production - Collaborated with multiple teams (MFA, Merchants, BSS) and led the end to end execution of creating the Plan and Forecast reporting for Target Canada Merchants (requirements collection, design/development, testing, production).• Key Contributor to SAP Implementation - Conducted R2/R3 testing for the SAP implementation in Target Canada prior to store openings, and successfully trained over two hundred headquarters team members in using SAP BEx, SAP BPC and Master Data.• Basketball Club Network Captain - Became one of the first network captains for Target Canada and created the Basketball Club which included 80+ members.
