      Jun 2015 - Aug 2015
      Summer Intern

I had the opportunity to work in the team of individuals that pushed to implement The American Dream Initiative. I worked alongside the American Dream Fellows, a group of the nation's brightest young people recruited and trained to become the nation's leaders in immigrant integration. That summer I learned a lot about the organization's mission and operations. The ADI brought together New Americans with leaders from business, government, education, non-profits, philanthropy, and faith-based organizations around a comprehensive plan for immigrant integration, ensuring that services are aligned with the needs of New Americans. LifeWorks breaks cycles of instability by providing the support and services youth experiencing homelessness need to thrive. Ending youth homelessness means that we have built a community system that ensures that youth homelessness is rare, brief and non-recurring. I worked as a volunteer during my final year of college and completed a variety of tasks that allowed me to work closely with the organization's social media and marketing team.
