  I was employed by DAV Network Services in a Junior Sales position.In order to learn about the products and industry I started at the bottom and worked my way through the product range which gave me a great insight in to how things worked and fit together.From manufacturing cables, soldering PCB boards, building cabinets, modifying CCTV equipment to building small copper networks. As part of the process I also spent time in various departments within the business.During my time in the warehouse, DAV Network Services Ltd was sold to The Communications Centre Int'l Ltd. I was offered a position within the Warehouse looking after all technical enquiries but included day to day warehouse activities. Show less

  (IT Infrastructure, Data Centre & Distribution.)I Started work for Repsole Ltd around May 2008 in Docklands, London.In mid 2008 we opened the door to a brand new ecommerce website and Trade Counter situated within a couple of hundred meters from some of Europe’s busiest Data Centres.Our goal was to offer a full catalogue of Data Centre specific products at great prices.Part of my role was to help grow the London account base through Data Centre customer interaction but also to gain access to major Data Centre accounts and project opportunities.Our online ecommerce site I helped develop new business throughout the UK, working with installers and key manufacturers on projects and day-to-day business.Keys roles included:- Constant revision of supply lines ensuring we purchase the best possible products at the right price. This involved dealing with many global corporations from Mexico, Europe and the Far East.- Following industry and product trends to ensure we have the latest products available to our customer base.- Completing strict route to market business plans to ensure products are 100% accurate from initial sourcing to website generation and sales.- Project Management of all high priority key accounts projects through TE Connectivity Sales channel.- Ensuring Products are marketed in the best possible way and all relevant product data kept up to date in our system files and also on our website.- Training staff on new to products, their uses and the best combination of current product to compliment a system solution.- General Manager looking after several staff and accountable for entire P&L of the department.My role as Product Manager has varied on a day to basis as the company has continuously grown year on year.I look after Internal and External Sales, Purchasing, Technical Support, Project Management, Ecommerce, Marketing, Warehouse, Logistics, Trade Sales, Social Media and Accounts.All of these roles I thoroughly enjoy.
