During the internship I had my daily routine with Orange County’s Operations Manager, where I among other things, participated in job and appraisal interviews with EMTs, management meetings and planning meetings of ambulance services at various events. In addition to this, I was repeatedly an observer on ambulance ride-a-longs.       I was employed in a fixed-term employment in continuation of my internship, where I continued to assist the section’s management. Furthermore, I assisted the HR Department, where I developed a ‘Deployment Tracker’ system. In addition to this, I facilitated regional group meetings and in general had a lot of contact with global employees and collaborators. Internship of 9-weeks during the module ‘LFA and International Internship’ where I participated in Save the Children’s response to the typhoon Haiyan that hit the Philippines in 2014. I was a part of the daily team at the Danish office where I among other things, prepared travelling contracts/documents in connection with emergency deployments, wrote weekly newsletters and reports, and other daily ad-hoc tasks.
