  In my current role as Director of Quality Assurance, Environmental, and Safety, I have the privilege of leading a dynamic, 15-person team, honing their skills in quality control, food safety, and compliance with high-quality standards, including ISO22000, ISO9001, GMP, and AIB. I’ve crafted a recruitment and training strategy to boost our team’s performance and streamline our processes, enhancing productivity and improving service quality.My responsibilities range from managing an integrated quality system to fostering a safety-conscious culture within the organization. By implementing innovative plans and processes, I've enhanced worker safety, product quality, and environmental standards - aligning seamlessly with our business objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.One of my key contributions includes creating and implementing strategies that focus on quality, safety, and environmental conservation. Show less As a Production Manager from 2016 to 2021, I managed a team of five managers and oversaw a larger team of 80 production workers and machine operators. Ensuring alignment with output, safety, and quality goals was a critical part of my role, and I am proud to have consistently met schedules and targets, often exceeding them.I strongly believe in the power of training, and to this end, I worked to improve our packaging process efficiency by enhancing operator skills. This initiative was underpinned by a training program I introduced to promote talented machine operators to maintenance roles, which included sponsoring their engineering certification studies.Understanding the importance of lean management, I led an excellence process of the production lines by implementing the 5-S organization method. Managing Standard Involvement Meetings (SIM) and enhancing visual management were a part of this process, helping us achieve remarkable efficiency levels.To drive operational improvements, I led several projects that delivered cost savings through automation, waste reduction, and alternative raw material utilization.
