  With the assistance of a small staff, I managed an aircraft maintenance training program for four organizations, totaling over 300 personnel. My responsibilities included evaluating, developing, and implementing cost-effective training plans for multiple Air Force specialty codes (a.k.a. career paths), performing official training inspections, maintaining program statistical data and analytics, and liaising with senior managers and directors on training activities, scheduling, and support.Additionally, I earned my Instructor Certification via the Air Force, where I became qualified to instruct multiple aircraft maintenance courses such as Aircraft Safety, Engine Run, and Train-the-Trainer.   Technical Training Instructor / Instructional Developer

  I was a Technical Training Instructor in Gogo's Aircraft Technical Operations team. My goal was to immediately enter on-the-job training to become qualified to facilitate instructor-led courses for the new satellite communications system. However, having learned about my experience composing technical training policies and procedures, my attention was directed to reviewing and providing editorial remarks on our team's policies and procedures. For the first six months in my position, I collaborated closely with my senior leaders, developing new, streamlined policies and procedures, which were ultimately published. For the following six months, I completed on-the-job training and shadowed a senior instructor in the classroom and on aircraft. This experience resulted in my obtaining my Qualified Instructor Certification and being placed in rotation to facilitate instructor-led courses. Through hard work and continued education, I was eventually asked to collaborate with and assist the technical training developers in creating new course content and materials. Show less

  I served as the Senior IT Training Specialist, where my primary responsibilities were to act as a liaison between the IT Technical Training team and the Program and Project Management teams and lead the design and development of new training material for the company's customer service management system.In my short time with School Specialty, I built relationships with various program and project managers to develop a long-term plan to integrate the IT Technical Training team into the program/project management process for new projects. The company had recently invested a lot of time and resources into establishing Salesforce as the customer service management system, which required a vast amount of the company to be trained on its features and functionality.Due to the enormous impact of this implementation, I also worked closely with many subject matter experts throughout the company, analyzing the training needs of each department. After completing my analysis, I coordinated closely with the technical training specialists within IT to design and develop training material that met the needs of each department and prioritized them accordingly.   Lead Technical Training Specialist / Sr. Technical Instructor - Aircraft Technical Operations

  I am the lead training and development specialist, senior technical trainer, and subject matter expert within Intelsat's Aircraft Technical Operations (ATO) Training and Development team. I translate complex technical information regarding Intelsat's commercial aviation technologies into easily relatable and understandable training elements. With the assistance of my lean but highly effective team, we develop, maintain, and facilitate technical training for many of the world's largest commercial airlines. We accomplish this by effective communication and implementing a system of processes that includes needs analysis, design and development coordination and reviews, and user acceptance analysis. Our customers and the Federal Aviation Administration hold our training elements to the highest standards, and I'm proud to say that we consistently exceed those standards.Our technical training output ranges from high-level general familiarization to second-level system troubleshooting. I am skilled in using many development tools, including the Microsoft 365 Suite, the Articulate 360 Suite, and various other web-based products such as Vyond. Show less
