Liaised with colleagues from across Government and political advisors to provide briefing on a range of high profile issues to very tight deadlines. Also spent some time in the Number Ten briefing team preparing the Prime Minister for a number of parliamentary debates, including the weekly Prime Ministers Questions.

Once the organisation had been created, worked as Head of Customer Service, responding to a number of complex and sensitive enquiries.

      Led on taking a range of criminal justice reforms through Parliament to contribute to the Legal Aid, Sentencing & Punishment of Offenders Bill (2012). Advised Ministers to win debates, worked with a range of lawyers to draft the Bill and briefed stakeholders on the Government position. Won all key votes to pass measures into law.Led on drafting Government White Paper, 'Criminal Justice Strategy & Action Plan'. Managed a virtual team of policy advisors from across Government to formulate policy to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Criminal Justice System. Advised the Director General on a range of high profile issues regarding technology, digital, and legal aid. Acted as key link between the business group and Ministers. Managed two customer-facing operational teams in the agency, dealing with hundreds of complex legal enquiries.
