Show less Worked in the rates and values area of the systems division in the actuarial department as a project leader, application developer and testing consultant of the Pricing Systems. These are math-intensive applications and are used to price and develop new products. The development of these applications tends to be very agile because the actuaries are continually trying different options until they reach the optimal design. I lead these projects from overall design through development to testing.I also worked on the rate routines. These routines are used in systems and applications throughout the company to provide premium and dividend rates and form the backbone of all the insurance products. Show less
