Unfortunately, after being taken over by another company, Weston Hart fell into liquidation.

Also did photocopying and basic photo copier repairs as a "call key operator". Also worked in Records Retention. I worked for IBM (UK) Ltd for some time, before the postiion was outsourced over a period of time between two agencies - but i remained in position including acting as a temporary supervisor.

I patrolled the shop floor when the store was open; i offered security when tills were collected or money was transferred to different places within the premises; I dealt with goods inwards and also overseeing rubbish disposal (deterrant to items going out the back door).

      I worked here during the summer periods whilst i was taking further and higher education. Other dates i worked here are June to September 1989; June to September 1990 and June to September 1991. The company sells ferry crossings across the Solent between Portsmouth and Ryde, Isle of Wight. It also sells tourist coach tours of the island in conjunction with the islands tourist board. Originally i was based at Clarence Pier - an office that was only open during the summer, where i ran the office myself. Whilst there, i broke all records for ticket sales from the pier for coach tours around teh Isle of Wight. Unfortunately the office had to close, so i had to move to a permanent office at Portsmouth Harbour. Show less
