About me
On 22nd Nov 2023 passed Online Proficiency Self Assessment Test conducted by Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MOCA), Govt. Of India for Independent Director. Now I am eligible for position of Independent Director in any Public listed of Private Companies governed by Companies Act 2013. More than thirty five years experience in industry & academia. Worked in major PSU banks and leading Private Sector Banks and Financial Institutions in India at senior positions. My core competence areas are Bank Management & Financial Restructuring of stressed assets. Handling sensitive & tough area like recovery of sticky assets comes naturally to me. l was CEO of Maiwand Bank, Kabul from Dec 2020 till Nov 2021 having 48 branches pan Afghanistan. I was also Adjunct Faculty with S P Jain School of Global Management, Dubai campus since January 2019 till Nov 2020. Prior to this l was with Emirates lnstitute of Banking and Financial Studies ( EIBFS) teaching & training bankers. I was also Chair of Academic Research Council of EIBFS, which inspires and motivates faculty and students in the institution to conduct research and produce articles/themes which will disseminate knowledge and light in the society. I was also Managing Editor of bi-annual in-house journal, "IJRBF" published from Dubai I was involved in contributing a chapter in internationally famed book of Dr. Frederic S Mishkin, an American economist and Professor of Columbia Business School, “ The Economics of Money Banking & Financial Markets”, 11th Ed. 9781292094182,which was published by Pearson Education Limited, UK in 2016. Specialties: Working experience in the entire life-cycle of Training Management including training needs evaluation, creating and managing training plans, executing the training courses, monitoring & controlling and evaluating the outcome of the training programs in order to achieve the desired goals. In academics, I have international teaching experience in countries like India, Nepal, Mauritius & UAE. While teaching at Mauritius I was bestowed by Mauritius Qualification Authority as Certified Trainer in Economics. About 20 research papers have been published/presented in various national & international journals/ seminars. Recently I have completed "Fintech" course from Wharton Online, University of Pennsylvania, USA Presently I am teaching online for Narsi Munjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai & BIMTECH, Greater Noida for MBA program. Both are AACSB accredited institutions. My subject areas are Banking Finance and Economics for working executives.
