  Now that my role has formally shifted into digital analysis, my focus is aimed toward finding, structuring, and interpreting new digital data sources that provide insight into our consumers; what they like, how they shop, and ultimately how we can better provide for them. Because this is a relatively new area for Meyer and CPG manufacturing as a whole, this job also necessitates constant education for myself and the company. The natural progression was towards digital analysis in order to better understand our consumer through the fingerprints they leave across the internet. Show less During my time as a merchandising analyst, my focus was on product merchandising and syndicating our digital content across our network of retailers. In this role, it was crucial to maintain a high level of detail with regards to all of our product assortment in order to create an accurate and consistent brand experience for our end consumers. Because of the necessity for both accuracy, I spent much of my time improving our work flow process through automation and reporting. My primary accomplishment in this position was designing, building, and implementing a content management workflow tool that allowed us to track every product in a 2,000 product assortment over our network of 60+ retailers, and provided reporting and action items to ensure accuracy and completion. During my time in this position I designed, created, and implemented several process improvements that enhanced and automated daily operational functions. These improvements were created using excel and VBA (which I taught myself on the job) and totaled over 2,000 hours saved annually.
