  Docking studies done for AP2a2 transcription factor against given set of ligands as an alternative approach for targeting DLEC1 breast cancer gene. Worked on computational techniques using Schrodinger and Autodock for protein ligand studies. To test given set of ligands against a protein model under simulations and to correlate the right type of ligands that would bind to the protein in order to development anticancer drugs for the tumor suppressor gene. A current Graduate Student Researcher in Dr.Wong-Beringer's Lab. I assist in research studies on antimicrobial resistance and bacterial virulence, examining their impact on patient outcomes. Primary focus integrating into my thesis work is on E.coli and K.pneumoniae and investigating the effects of various antibiotics on horizontal gene transfer. Graduate student researcher in Dr.Liana Asatryan's Lab. Assisting in research of pre-clinical potential of sodium butyrate as a therapeutic, in alcohol use disorder.
