      Day to day management of a team of 11 bulk articulated vehicles and drivers to ensure and maintain legal compliance with the Goods Vehicle Operators licence. This involves managing all external vehicle maintenance suppliers to ensure best practice and values are adhered too. Scheduling driver’s workloads in maximising work efficiencies and vehicle payload. Ensure efficient manpower is available as demand required, this involves liaising with driving agencies for recruitment of temp staff. Ensuring that all appropriate record keeping is maintained at all times, this included requirements under the goods vehicle operator’s licence. In the absence of the site manager my role would also be to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the site. This involved liaison with Head office and client contact. Show less
