As Sepsis Program Manager, I have an extensive knowledge of the CMS SEP-1 bundle requirements, as well as the SEP-3 definition and coding. Supervision and training of abstractors for the CMS bundle is a key component of this position. In addition, I work with various teams throughout the medical center to improve recognition and treatment of sepsis throughout the health system. I am heavily involved in the development, maintenance, training, and policies related to sepsis care.
