Recruitment consultant & new starter trainer

After the RiO R2 Upgrade Project at Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) finished, I decided to look into working as a contractor within the NHS with all my previous roles being permanent placements. I approached a few recruitment agencies to begin searching for contract roles, but was offered an opportunity to work as a recruitment consultant.During my time as in the role I learnt a lot of news skills, such as: Negotiation, Telephone Sales, Written Sales, Management of trainee consultants, building client relationships, working to strict monthly targets & managing strict budgets.I also was the company’s first & only trainer due to my NHS & Training background. My main priority to ensure all new starters were familiarised with the structure of the NHS & early stages of working as a recruitment consultant. I delivered sales & NHS training, created all training material, documents & templates from scratch.I very much enjoyed my time as a recruitment consultant & gained invaluable knowledge & experience of recruitment into the NHS.
