      During my PhD thesis I have been involved in the research and development of a complete phased array systems to obtain acoustic image. The algorithms were implemented on MatLab with a user’s interface. I used a Genetic Algorithms technique for the optimization the microphones distribution of the phase array system, this work allowed me to obtain a Master degree in Engineering Sciences. During my career I worked as a consulting engineer at TENARIS, where I provided services for the characterization of the separation of oxide in probes with different thermal treatment thought acoustic emission (A.E.). Another important project was fault detection in composite structures through acoustic signals and modal analysis. As part of this consulting work I developed a system to obtain the frequency response function in different structures and use tools like neural network to detect fault in composite materials. As a consulting engineer at FATE SAICI I participated in the modeling of the tire thread band to predict noise emission. I’ve also coordinated the coast-by tests (ISO 13325:2003), which are carried out to verify the international standards on noise emission. To conduct this work, I had to acquire knowledge on the modeling of a tire, its contact with the road, radiation of sound, and on international standards in tire noise emission. Show less

I’ve also coordinated the pass-by tests, which are carried out to verify the international standards on noise emission. This work provided me knowledge on modeling tire, modeling contact model, modeling radiation of sound model, and on international standards in tire noise emission.
