  Successfully conduct internal legal audit on all the 13 departments of the group company and its subsidiaries, assess their level of compliance and make recommendations and close out all non-compliance.Prepare policies on data protection, anti-money laundering, corporate governance, zero-tolerance, legal service request. Member of the auditee team for the annual successful renewal and retaining of a group company and its subsidiaries International Organization Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015, 45001:2018, and 14001:2015, (the world's best-known quality management standard for companies and organization), certification audits.Draft, review and ensure proper execution of legal agreements such as Logistics and Supply Base Services Agreements, Power Purchase Agreement, GSPA, EPC Contract, NDAs, MOAs, Service Supply Agreements, Finance Agreements, Lease Agreements, JV Agreements etc. Provide accurate legal advice on taxation, employment, IT, finance, power, bulk water and waste servicing and so on, to the company and its Strategic Business Units (SBUs). Manage litigation matters of the group company and its subsidiaries and liaising with the external lawyers for periodic review of cases and update.Liaise with regulatory bodies such as FIRS, LIRS, NEPZA, SCUML, NPA, CAC, NUPRC for licenses, compliance and due diligence.Attend meetings of the group company, its subsidiaries and and their SBUs, providing all necessary secretarial support services (taking minutes, ensuring compliance with the code of corporate governance, international best practices and with relevant and applicable laws and regulations.
