  This is where I learnt project management and planning the most. Each term, I managed 3-4 projects (a.k.a classes) in parallel, each with 30-40 stakeholders (a.k.a. students) with different level of comprehension and speed of learning. Building lesson plans with the precision of 5-minutes interval was something I did daily. I also needed to be Agile as I needed to iterate lesson plans quickly based on students comprehension in my classes. Finally, we had a clear numerical metrics in terms of students grade which I monitored daily. At the end of the academic year, my class turned out to be the highest scoring amongst 8 classes for the 9th grade. Till this day (2024), I still think that my students were the hardest stakeholders to deal with. If you can get the attention of 30 hormone driven sarcastic teenagers, speaking in front of C-suite in a Fortune 500 company is as easy as A, B, C. As a super app, it covers food delivery, ride hailing & payment app in 8 countries with 1.2 million daily active users. In 2018, it acquired Uber's Southeast Asian business.I joined as the first pre-MBA consultant who worked on the CEO's highly prioritised initiatives across Grab's verticals, functions and countries. Later on, I got promoted to post-MBA equivalent position where I co-founded the Internal Tool & Automation team. I double hatted as Strategy & Operations Manager and Product Manager. We developed web-based tools, automation and API/system integration for internal users to reach business goals such as improving operational costs, increasing efficiency and productivity.As a team co-founder, I established the way of working (PRD templates, SOP) and lead meetings (sprint planning, stand-up, retro). I also led the end-to-end development of new/improved features, from identifying opportunities, gathering requirements, scoping, design & development, testing and implementation.In total, I saved USD 1,4 mn operational cost per year by driving end-to-end effort for the following projects:• OCR: Product owner for Grab’s first OCR use-case, managed a team of 10 consisting of product, analytics, engineering, procurement, legal, privacy and security team.
