      · Lead all the departmental activities comprising mainly dealing with Ambient, Powder and cold chain’s whole portfolios.· Manage product development life cycle activities of ambient and cold chain section including formulation and process development, ingredients evaluation, local and global food regulation compliance and product stability.· Work closely with Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality & Procurement team to prepare finished product prototypes.· Conduct trials at Pilot Plant and/or manufacturing facilities to assess manufacturing capability and consumer acceptability.· Prepare ingredients list & nutritional facts for the declaration on the pack and ensure that the recipe meets the claims on the pack and that all ingredients are meeting applicable regulatory standards.· Write raw materials specifications, finalize cost effective BOMs, product specification (including identifying Key Quality Attributes) for approval.· Input into the definition of the manufacturing process and process parameters to achieve the right & consistent product quality· To be a member of the HACCP team for any new product/new process or change of existing product/process.· Lead the commissioning of new product & handover to Quality Assurance and Production department by preparing log sheet and recipe sheet with targets and tolerance.· Arrange technical feasibility (pilot plant or line trials) to produce samples for shelf life studies· Develop concept and recipes against a target cost and select raw materials and suppliers accordingly· Prepare finished product prototypes for qualitative consumer validation either internal or external to ensure high product acceptance· Observe keeping quality of existing products including physical and chemical characteristics for all products (Including UHT full cream milk, Tea whitener, Dairy Cream, Drinks, Butter, Cheese etc.)· To observe the overall market scenario and conduct the market competitor’s products analysis.
