    • Incase

      Dec 2015 - Mar 2017

Developing a nice rapport with customers during my time as a CS Rep, I began looking for additional ways to create revenue through Customization of our bags. Upper management recognized the hunger for knowledge I had with the Incase product selection and I was promoted to the Sales Team. As the Main point of contact for all incoming B2B and Corporate Sales, it was my job to develop relationships with new and repeat customers for all products encompassing the Incase brand. This included working with Resale marketing firms, ASI/PPAI partners as well as Education and Non-Profit organizations.Qualifying potential customer order specifications and deadlines, I would attempt to gain a clear understanding of the client's needs and requirements. This would include negotiating the terms of potential purchases with items such as: price, customization costs, timelines and delivery terms.Through our local vendors, I was able to build a Customization team to manage a pipeline of projects, aligning customer expectations with the correct product + customization options. Utilizing heat transfer, embroidery, and laser etching, we offered the quickest turn-around times in the industry - with projects being shipped within 4 business days. This accelerated project timeline allowed for an influx of new business, which allowed us to grow our footprint in the Promo industry. Managing multiple high-volume orders simultaneously, documenting the process and best practices for each client I was able to develop an efficient workflow. I created a program to trouble-shoot order issues, and communicate effectively amongst vendors to ensure project deadlines and optimal quality. During this period, I was able to grow the business from $75,000 to $250,000, while implementing strategies and learning from mistakes. Upon the closure of the Incase offices in Chino, the Incase group was brought to Irvine and Incipio Group World Headquarters. This was a welcomed change for me, as I was asked to join the Enterprise team and was given more responsibility, including additional brand resources:This includes optimizing workflow amongst an assortment of products and brands:• Incipio - Custom Phone cases, Portable Power and Tablet Protection.• Incase - Custom Soft Goods• Braven - Personalized Bluetooth Speakers/Earbuds• Griffin Technology - Tablet Protection and Portablepower. With a healthy competition in mind, I developed a hunger for business and began pursuing Outbound Leads and additional streams of revenue. This included cold-calling and prospecting potential customers, both regionally and on the national level. Building upon my previous customization program, we were able to ramp up our business, implementing new strategies and ensuring optimal workflow, while minimizing errors and customer turn-over. This included creating Selling tools, and Decks, that illustrate Incipio Group's full capabilities.Helped Launch the Enterprise Service division of the company, offering OEM, Customization, Private Label and Design services. With the help of the internal product team, we were able to develop new customization options to generate an additional $500,000 in revenue with Incase soft-goods. We did this by working directly with the factory on large-scale projects and SMU's (Special Make-up). This includes custom zipper pulls, debossed lining, and enhanced embroidery/TPU capabilities. We utilized new customization techniques on our full product selection such as Incipio Phone Cases, Griffin Power Banks, and Braven Bluetooth speakers to create additional revenue. By offering customization on our whole product selection, we cemented our space in the ASI/PPAI market and joined late July.• Grew revenue from $250,000 to approximately $1.5 million annually.
