I focused on sustainable tourism at The Center for Environmental Leadership in Business at Conservation International (CI) working in the Caribbean and Andes regions with major cruise lines, hotels and outbound tour operators. • IFC - International Finance Corporation

      Aug 2006 - Aug 2023
Senior Program Officer - Corporate Responsibility

I have embedded principles of corporate responsibility into IFC’s culture, values, and way of doing business since 2007. I have built and led IFC's strategy in two priority areas: environmental responsibility—including waste, energy, and carbon emissions inventorying and offsets; and diversity and inclusion—including diversity targets and driving an inclusive and respectful workplace culture. I’ve led related programs from within IFC’s Corporate Real-estate Unit and from the Human Resources (HR) Dept. In HR, I’ve led additional work programs through a corporate responsibility and future workforce (generational diversity) lens such as on-and off-boarding staff, career development, flex-work and staff engagement. Under the corporate responsibility strategy, I also lead IFC’s implementation of WBG programs on community outreach and staff well-being. I’ve been appointed as adviser to Vice Presidents and as Secretariat to management committees on related topics of innovation and people and leadership. Prior to IFC, my roles focused on GRI reporting and sustainable tourism in Conservation International and Ceres. Show less
