      Completed a 1 year HNC part-time with the Dublin Institute of Design in Graphic Design to gain a foundation in the principles and processes of design, achieved a Distinction.

      Activities and Societies: Hands on production work in radio, film, television, production, scripting and theoretical studies in semantics, philosophy and media analysis. Filmed documentaries, scripted and presented a daily breakfast show for a pop-up college radio station, assisted in a marketing campaign for the station launch and completed a Thesis on Disney’s animated feature films and the educational impact of fairytales which was awarded a first. Completed an internship in a Government Press Office over a 2 year period whilst at college.

I worked as a personal assistant to the Head of Finance, producing board papers, formatting reports, PowerPoint presentations and letters for Finance/Purchasing Manager and other department managers. I was also responsible for the office management, organising staff meetings, staff attendance records, filing and archiving and petty cash reconciliations. I was offered an extension to my contract.

      I managed a talented in-house team of visual designers and media producers in EY. Creative was a team of graphic designers, document specialists, motion graphics and videographers, servicing the needs of EY Ireland. My role needed a customer-centric approach, commercial acumen and design thinking principles. I remained curious to constantly upskill in the ever-expanding definition of design. I project managed our Media team, and for the wider team took the lead on strategic and operational matters, actively problem solving and engaging in stakeholder and people management. Outside the day job, I was co-chair of EY's LGBT+ group, Unity for 2 years and a proud member of EY's choir. I was the line-manager for the Media Team and acted as the team lead in workflow/traffic management. I was a point of escalation for complex projects. My day-to-day was client relationship management, escalations, operations, strategy and people management and development. Co-chair of our Unity LGBTQ+ network. Design and Comms volunteer for FuSIoN (Financial Services Inclusion Network) and a proud member of the EY Choir.
