Its mission is to purchase and negotiate parts, services and equipment in 26 countries within the Alliance, while respecting strict quality, cost and lead-time requirements. With more than 4,500 employees, the Purchasing Division ensures plant supply in collaboration with a network of over 20,000 competitive suppliers.Renault's purchasing process improvement project is aimed at global optimization and standardization. The main objective was to ensure more efficient supplier management, sourcing and performance evaluation, while maximizing results. This involved:- Managing supplier panels and supervising sourcing.- Conducting performance reviews and negotiations with suppliers.- Coordination between various internal functions and suppliers.- Applying standard purchasing processes and Delegation of Authority (DOA).A key aspect of this project was the implementation of the SRQ (Supplier Risk Quotation) tool, designed to calculate and evaluate supplier risks, particularly financial risks. SRQ centralizes and analyzes several types of data (financial, audit, legal, purchasing) in real time to provide a comprehensive view of risks.
