      Power Generator Mechanic

As a Generator Mechanic in the military, my primary goal was to maintain and repair generator equipment for deployment-ready use. I regularly applied attention to detail to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems. I had to apply tools and methods to configure, test, and implement practices to resolve problems. The use of wiring diagrams and schematics was essential to ensure a proper understanding of machine function and how to repair it. I was required to hook up generators to military equipment to ensure operation of the base and all power needs within. I lead and trained fellow soldiers for usage, repair, and maintenance of power generator units, HVAC/R units, and for normal soldier skills. Show less
