  As a Generator Mechanic in the military, my primary goal was to maintain and repair generator equipment for deployment-ready use. I regularly applied attention to detail to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems. I had to apply tools and methods to configure, test, and implement practices to resolve problems. The use of wiring diagrams and schematics was essential to ensure a proper understanding of machine function and how to repair it. I was required to hook up generators to military equipment to ensure operation of the base and all power needs within. I leverage my expertise in information technology to create efficient processes, monitor system performance, and maintain smooth machine operation.I utilize database software to manage files, send them to the machines, and back up essential software and firmware. Additionally, I use CAD software to design and create a variety of products, including samples, renders, end-use items, and display pieces.My skill set also includes creating and interpreting schematics and diagrams for various products and projects.
