I would also occasionally enjoy working on my side project made in the Unity game engine or teach programming in 1-to-1 sessions via pair programming. I was a technology officer at NUCATS where we organise different sessions for enthusiastic beginners like learning Python, programming for CrumbleBot and Arduino, hackatons, gameathons, and activities with local software companies that would give talks on various topics in order to give ground for the students to some networking with potential employers. Activities and Societies: Ecology club I took part in an ecological club where we did various events to support the sustainable development of our environment and to learn more about nature. We used to go on organised trips in the forests and mountains, learn about the different flora and fauna and their preservation. I was very active in organising a few mountain cleaning activities in the mountains that often get polluted by tourists in the area of my town.

      Aug 2010 - Mar 2014
      Project Coordinator

I started as a volunteer while I was still in my final year of high-school and after graduation I enjoyed being around the great people of the organisation so once I was offered a job - I took it immediately. I was coordinating and writing projects that were funded by institutions like the European Commission. I actively sought partners that would both benefit from and be beneficial to the company. In addition, I was taking part in organising events like training courses and networking events like conferences and partner meetings. I had the opportunity to travel a lot around Europe and work on international level on projects with different topics like entrepreneurship, conflict management, sustainable development and youth empowerment. I was also taking part in the reporting process of how funds received by the company for different projects were used and what were the results that were achieved from every project. Show less

      Technical Consultant

Technical consultant for ArtForge - a game development company that is part of The Founder Institute, the Founder Institute Bonus Pool and is developing a multiplayer video game using Unreal Engine. My role is to establish the whole pipeline for the technical implementation of the product that is being developed. I have to select the software solutions and tools that fit the company's needs - choosing the type of multiplayer model for the game, creating the work process, selecting the best server solution, picking the development methodology, setting up the source control tools for both artists and programmers, setting up builds, releases, deployments, pull requests, programming guidelines and enforcing good practices on the whole software's development cycle. I also work on POCs and implementations when I get a chance. I have been learning about DevOps lately and I am putting that into good use by acting as the company's technical consultant. Show less
