  As the Chief Operating Officer of WPS, a publisher of psychological and educational tests, I lead the publishing operation, which includes research and development, rights and permissions, professional training, art, editorial, project management, production, order fulfillment, customer service, and the physical plant. I oversee more than 70 employees and manage budgets totaling upwards of $5 million. I work with authors to secure their contracts with WPS, and to develop their ideas into commercial titles. I plan and execute complex research studies, write technical manuscripts, and create user interfaces for print and electronic testing platforms. I represent WPS to communities of test users, and to professional organizations such as the American Psychological Association. I am the top advisor to the CEO, and, with my colleagues on the WPS Leadership Team, I help chart the strategic direction of the company. Show less
