      The Manager, Technology & Information Services is a key management link in the delivery of technical services and information management across each of the six Sheriffs Branch directorates within the Public Safety Division of the PSES ministry. The position provides advice and support to Government of Alberta executive and senior managers on the development and implementation of effective technical systems and information management related strategies, policies, and programs that contribute to the achievement of business plan goals and meet the security needs of government ministries and stakeholders across the province. The position leads the team which supports all the land-mobile radio communications equipment, in-vehicle wireless communications equipment, and body-worn communications equipment and the related procurement, service and processes for that equipment across the Public Safety and Correctional Services Divisions. The team also supports the various information technology platforms used by the Public Safety division by providing data quality work, business intelligence, analyst support, and program administration.The position develops and maintains collaborative relationships with representatives from Government ministries, up to and including the Ministerial level, to develop and implement technical programs, with an emphasis on network and enterprise systems.
