Below are descriptions of my leadership roles retrieved from scouting.org. Order of the Arrow Chapter Chief: (1 year)-Meets monthly with the chapter officers and advisers.-Carries out well-planned and effective chapter meetings and activities.-Supervises unit elections in the chapter.-Responsible to ensure all chapter assignments are completed.-Organizes a unit election team, crossover ceremony team(s), and ceremony teams forchapter Ordeal inductions and Brotherhood inductions, if so delegated by the lodge.-Serves as a positive example of leadership and represents the OA well.-Responsible for constant communication with chapter members.Patrol Leader: (1 term / 6 months)-Plan and lead patrol meetings and activities.-Keep patrol members informed.-Assign each patrol member a specific duty.-Represent your patrol at all patrol leaders' council meetings and the annual program planning conference.-Prepare the patrol to participate in all troop activities.-Work with other troop leaders to make the troop run well.-Know the abilities of each patrol member.-Live by the Scout Oath and Law.-Show and develop patrol spirit.Chaplin Aide: (3 years)-Provide a spiritual tone for all troop meetings and camping experiences.-Assure members and leaders of your interest in them and their activities.-Provide spiritual counseling service when needed or requested.-Provide opportunities for all boys to grow in their relationship with God and their fellow Scouts.-Encourage Scouts to participate in the religious emblems program of their respective faith.
