  As Manager (Standards) in Bharat Electronics (BEL), I am playing a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining world-class quality standards for the organization. My journey at BEL began as a Works Engineer in Bare PCB Manufacturing, where I designed and implemented various chemical and wet processes, optimizing Electroless Copper Plating, and successfully leading a Six Sigma project to enhance the yield in Solder Masking Process.In 2016, my responsibilities expanded as I transitioned into the role of Manager (Standards). In this capacity, I've been responsible for drafting and releasing company standards in alignment with national and international standards. I've implemented Process Management within the Standards department, actively participated in technical committees for capex procurement, conducted internal audits, and represented the organization in various national and association standardization committees. My expertise extends to vendor development, indigenization, and proficiency in SAP modules (PLM, MM, QM, PP) and N-core NG software.Notable achievements include certification as a PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, and Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015. I am also a Certified IPC Trainer for WHMA/IPC-A-620, contributing to our high-quality cable and wire harness assemblies. My key roles are to 1. Freeze the specifications and standardise all kind of non-metallic raw materials that are procured by Bharat Electronics, Pan India. 2. Selection, evaluation and qualification of vendors for these materials and maintaining the approved sources for all. 3. Develop Process standards, qualification standards and workmanship standards for my organisation for all wet processes, plating, painting, PWB fabrication, brazing and soldering processes. 4. Development of Indigenous vendors/manufacturers for imported items. 5. Addressal of safety health and environment parameters to educate the sub-contract vendors. 6. Co-ordinating implementation of ISO 14001:2015. 7. Internal auditor for AS 9100: Rev D and ISO 14001:2015.8.
