      Crane Technician

      ● NCCCO licensed and have class A CDLs. ● Operated with many different types of controls in brand new cranes and old cranes sent for factory reset. ● Use cranes to unload trucks, build counterweights, put on booms, and every aspect of test and calibration of the crane. ● Operated cranes in crane shows (picking up a crane with a crane and counter rotating with heavy loads.) For promotion of our product. ● Calibrate LMls using computer software and the crane to build hundreds of different variations of test weights. Using the crane at different parts of line ranging from 1 to 12 and all jib configurations and offsets at different boom lengths and angles thus finding the proper radius. ● Use load charts regularly and help make load charts. I operate for engineers helping them find tipping points, max capacities, and side deflection tolerances. Data used to produce load charts for newer model cranes. ● Test all hydraulic functions and adjust the pressures for smooth operation. ● Extensive experience using many varieties of rigging Including chains, slings, shackles, spreader bars, spreader trees and etc. ● Routinely put on jibs and extensions, changing offsets regularly. ● Routinely put on hook blocks, changing parts of line and setting the socket and wedge. ● Pre-operation inspection everyday and very attentive to possible hazards. ● Work 40 to 70 hours a week so I am used to long work weeks.
