      I was initiated into the world of Internet design at Top New Media agency, FCB Electric Ocean. Here I learnt to hand-code HTML and CSS and I designed websites, kiosks and other TTL advertising material for blue-chip clients such as Allan Gray, Caltex, CapeSpan as well as the design of a weekly website for SABC3’s Digital Options.

      FUR design was a design cooperative founded by myself and two friends. Our versatile style, user centric philosophy and can-do attitude (and of course good design) earned us a stream of steady work for clients such as: City of Johannesburg, Western Cape Government, South African Tourism, Legacy Hotel Group, ArtThrob, South African Business Coalition of HIV/AIDS, M-Net, and The Mail and Guardian. I also lectured at Ruth Prowse School of Art.

Splitting my time between Marketing and Product, I ensured alignment with company vision, consistent user experience and on-brand TTL marketing collateral. I watched the company grow from a few thousand to over 4 million users.
