Monitor/controlling of welding works,consumables issued and welding parameters before, during and after welding as per ITP and procedure. Layout / dimensional / fit-up checks and visual inspection before, during and after welding for goodworkmanship standard. Ensure the Initial, In-process, Final Inspection, including Welding and Heat Treatment are carried outas per ITP. Witness and monitor Pressure Test, PWHT and interpret relevant chart. Interpret Radiographic films and advise production if any repair as required for known defect. Reportwelds defect details with reference to weld joint number to the Welding/QC Engineer. Communicate and coordinate with Third Party inspectors required to review/witness inspectionactivities. Material inspection to visual dimension and verification of mill certificates and transfer to identificationmarks. Verify to ensure measuring instruments and welding machines are calibrated and maintained.
