      Apr 2004 - Oct 2012

I have a high level of knowledge in the United States Army recruitment policies and procedures; This has led me to be selected as the Recruiting Station Assistant Commander. I provide leadership, instruction and supervision to five Army Sergeants and, to date, over 50 newly enlisted soldiers. I have conducted over 150 interviews to determine if an individual is mentally, morally and physically eligible to enlist into the U.S Army. In order to check if applicants have any law violations I have conducted several law enforcement background checks and am familiar in using the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database. I am also trained and have operated the Live Scan System to submit fingerprints through the United States Office of Personnel Management (OPM). In the period of Two years I have recruited and successfully enlisted over 30 qualified men and women into the United States Army in both active duty and reserve status. I administrate weekly Recruiting Station training, increasing the awareness of Active Army and Army Reserve enlistment programs. I generate daily reports to be submitted to company level Commanders and First Sergeants. I create, maintain, and protect information and documents and carry out all my duties in accordance with Federal Regulations and guidelines. As a Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Army I enforce Federal laws and regulations daily to maintain good order and discipline and dispense military justice through the use of the Manual for Courts Martial, the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Army Regulations, General Orders, and Standard Operating Procedures. Show less I had been personally accountable for high value and sensitive item equipment worth approximately two-million dollars for a period of 15 months, during combat operations in Iraq, with no loss or damage to any government property. I had planned and supervised over 100 American and Multinational Force dismounted missions, conducting raids and dismounted foot patrols, which successfully maneuvered on objectives and gathered intelligence on terrorist forces. I had identified and cataloged evidence collected during raids, completed incident reports, and gathered statements to be used in the prosecution of suspected Terrorists and Anti-Iraqi Forces which further protected property owned and occupied by Federal government forces during combat operations in Iraq. I later was appointed by my Company Commander to be a Sniper Team Leader. I was responsible for the organizing, planning and execution of my Unit’s sniper missions. I had successfully transported detainees and evidence to detention centers and evidence collection points In Iraq with no detainees being harmed and no damage or loss of evidence collected. During combat operations in Iraq I had executed over 300 reconnaissance and combat missions over a period of 15 months, and had also organized and directed 29 Specialized missions with a team of six personnel. The outcome of these missions led to the arrest of three high value targets and further gathering of intelligence on new targets with no injuries or loss of life of any personnel. I had conducted training for over 200 Iraqi soldiers in areas of dismounted operations (foot patrols), room clearing procedures, and basic and advanced rifle marksmanship techniques. I also conducted personnel and vehicle searches, while carrying firearms, at tactical checkpoints and entry control points (gate entrances) for the purposes of denying unauthorized entry, theft or damage to facility grounds and structures and protection of persons and property. Show less I had executed over 200 reconnaissance and combat missions over a period of 12 months during combat operations in Iraq. I was selected ahead of my peers and received early promotion for my advanced knowledge of mission essential skills and leadership abilities. I had established the standard operating procedure for vehicle load plans for a Company with a personnel count of 130 individuals, which allowed for quicker access of mission essential items during motor patrols and times of extreme stress. I had assisted in the grading process during a company level Bradley Gunnery firing range qualification at the rank of Private First Class; this task is usually assigned to those of the rank of Staff Sergeant or higher. I had operated telephone and radio networks and monitored, recorded and responded to radio transmissions during combat operations. I had coordinated and communicated with Unit Commanders and adjacent elements of the locations and activities of other Units conducting Combat operations in area’s covering over 1,000 square miles ensuring safe operation of friendly forces and no loss of persons or property.
