  Paid internship offered to qualifying students that participated in any L'SPACE Virtual Academies. The internship was in the ASU Spaceworks lab in Arizona State University. We worked in a team to create a Thermal Infrared Camera that can capture a picture in space like conditions and protect the camera from solar flux. In our team, I was the Electrical Engineering lead and I was in charge of all the circuits to power our concept. I gained experience in stepper motors, 3D printing, arduino, coding, soldering, circuitry, and machine shop. At the end, our team did an End Item Data Package along with a professional presentation on our concept. Show less The L'SPACE Mission Concept Academy is a 12- week virtual academy that offers skills training from NASA scientist and engineers. In this, we were asked to design a concept that will help find water on Mars. Using JMARS, we conducted research regarding Mars surface and atmosphere. In my team, I was the budget lead and apart of the engineering and research. I learned how to work in a team, create a Preliminary Design Review and how life would be like if I were to create a Preliminary Design Review for NASA. Show less
