Special Project: A Tribute to Madeline T. Dog

Author: Chris BeuoyCreative Director and Designer: Nancy LochIllustrator: Kim ZophCreated from true stories and photographs posted on a blog by Chris Beuoy in 2009, this 28-page book is a memorial tribute to Madeline T. Dog (Maddie), a beloved beagle who learned to outsmart people and win hearts at the same time.Beginning with the first day at the dog pound--where Maddie simply expected to be chosen--and ending with a Memorial Eat-a-Thon held in her honor, this book entertains with touching and hilarious tales of a dog obsessed with food. Book designer Nancy Loch and illustrator Kim Zoph pay homage to "The New Yorker" magazine with original cover art in the style of Maira Kalman, pet portrait drawings, cartoon sketches, and select images from cartoonist Michael Maslin and the NY Cartoon Bank. For people who love people and their pets.http://www.blurb.com/b/6358508-a-tribute-to-madeline-t-dog Show less
