      I recently finished classes with the Lubbock Coding Academy, supported by Texas Tech and South Plains College. We began February of 2019 and I graduated Dec. 13th 2019. The curriculum was broken into 4 modules covering HTML/CSS/JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and Angular 8.

      Activities and Societies: I was a member of the Going Band and a graduate of the TTU Honors College. My degree was an array of creative non-fiction writing, philosophy, ecology and other environmental sciences, exploring the connection between humanity and our natural world. I spent a whole lot of time writing and a lot of time outside, and I loved it.

      Joyful Noise has been a part of my life since I was 19, when I started as a private percussion instructor. I worked part-time while attending Texas Tech and moved into full-time as I graduated. Once full-time, I also took on roles as a general music teacher and the office manager, working with toddlers up to adults. I returned to part-time status around mid-2015 to pursue other ventures, and finished my time with them as a private instructor.

      My journey in BJJ began as a student in November of 2011. During the summer of 2015 I began and finished an instructor certification program, held by my Master Instructor Klay Pittman, and became a part-time instructor that fall. I assisted on the mat and engaged in business roles, such as face to face recruiting, sales calls, and enrollment meetings. Eventually I went full-time and around January of 2017 I became the Chief Instructor for the school, leading classes of my own and increasing my interaction in business responsibilities. Show less

      I started Blue Layer as a frontline tech, answering phone calls and gathering details for tickets. I was quickly moved into a level 1 position where I began troubleshooting computer software and networking issues, as well as handling remote computer setups/installs. After about 7 months I was moved to the team that handles all medical clients, where I also became more involved in server-side monitoring and troubleshooting.
