  I am an advocate for small businesses, my goal is to help increase opportunities for minorities, women and persons with disabilities in state government procurement and contracting including encouraging state purchasing officials to identify and utilize HUB/DBE vendors. Serves as the manager on duty when Director is not present or out of office. I am the senior point of contact for the SWUC Program (which includes HUB certification and re-certification). Also assist the project owner, purchaser or general/prime contractors in achieving HUB goals by identifying Small and HUB firms to bid on advertised and/or informal projects. In addition, I serve as the liaison between the owner and purchaser (State Government), and general contractors, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants; provide Small and HUB businesses with assistance and technical training, and builds relationships with the contracting community, nonprofit organizations, and others who serve Small and HUB businesses.
