Representative accomplishments include:• Chapter 475 of 2013 to establish assessment ceilings for local public utility mass real property;• Chapter 389 of 2013 to allow to certain utilities to flexibly priced non-basic communication services;• Chapter 348 of 1997 to define the term "telephone line" to reflect the competitive environment dealing with the inside wiring at a customer premise; and• Chapter 684 of 1997 to suspend the requirements of the Public Service Law applicable to cellular service.
