  Started with Cubic in Grafenwoehr, Germany as a Graphics Specialist in 1995. Moved to Lacey, WA and advanced to Executive Assistant before moving to Northern VA to work as a Graphic Artist in 2003. Moved into Manager, Proposal Support position in 2004. Relocated to Hampton Roads, VA in 2005. Promoted to Proposal Manager in 2012 and Senior Proposal Manager in 2016.

  In my role as Senior Proposal Manager I am responsible for managing assignment, work-flow, and technical writing requirements of multiple proposal efforts. I am responsible for the development and timely submission of all proposals with short suspense dates and to conduct color team reviews or other standard proposal management processes. I also respond to requests for information from multiple Executive Management, Program Managers, Business Developers, and company officers. I coordinate with Contract Administrators to ensure that the overall proposal process incorporates all required regulations and contractual elements. I interact with costing, accounting, legal, security, and ITAR officers to manage supporting proposal processes and procedures. I am responsible for quality control and formatting of proposal volumes and specific proposal content to be compliant with solicitation instructions. Additionally, I ensure that all costing is complete within company guidelines. I mentor, train, and advise company officers, Business Development personnel, Program Managers, and other employees on proposal processes and policy. With my background in Graphic Design I also create and edit graphics as necessary for proposal and marketing projects. Show less
