Working for the debating society helped me develop my oratory skills as there were regular practice debates during my time in the debating society. The debating secretary played an important role in keeping us on our toes by providing us continuous practice sessions which helped my develop my confidence. To sum up my experience, I can say that I have become a better and more confident orator because of my time in the debating society.
