  Shadowed IT help desk team and observed daily functions of IT department, which included: help desk services, application/hardware troubleshooting, new system installations, tracking inventory, imaging computers, and individual projects. Observed the creation of automated functions for adding new accounts with role based access, the implementation of security software for neonatal intensive care unit, and updating application installation methods using software such as PDQ deploy. Learned to image hospital computers, troubleshoot healthcare applications from an admin perspective, set up workstations, and became familiar with active directory.
