  Lotus taught me many things, in particular the ability to think on my feet and work collaboratively in order to come up with solutions to problems quickly.I particularly enjoyed the task of managing warranty claims for The Lotus Elise/Exige and the Opel Speedster. I identified the key stakeholders (such as the Aftersales managers and key functional engineers) and together we devised a process for prioritising issues and resolving them. I chaired the review meetings and ensured that issues were progressed to ensure legal compliance, safety and Client satisfaction.I managed numerous projects for external Clients, including being instrumental in winning an order from Tesla Motors for the joint development of their first electric car.   The most challenging part of working at Hawkins was the variety of case work with which I was confronted. I was often required to work outside my comfort zone, researching topics before investigating the incident and then presenting my findings to my Client. For example, I was presented with a case that involved horse riding saddles where I had to understand how a horse was ridden in order to show how modifications to the incident saddle contributed to a rider falling. I provided analysis, videos and diagrams that allowed my Client to prove negligence on the part of a sub-contractor.I regularly demonstrated an ability to analyse information and communicate it to others, including giving evidence in Court under oath.
