Students had body measurements taken and ran a fitness test. • Primary requirements as the study co-ordinator include liasing with schools, organising meetings between schools and the research team, documenting consent information from parents and children, being the main contact for parents and leading the research team during data collection.• Key skills to my success in this role include problem solving, strong communication with all stakeholders and team work to achieve all tasks on time and to a high standard.• My Master’s project has taught me the importance to listening to others and has strongly developed my leadership abilities.
