  Selected by my school to join a small group to travel to Kabubbu, a remote village in Uganda - 2 weeks in July 2016.Requirement for me to raise funds before travelling – I raised £1400 through sponsored hikes along with doing maintenance tasks and car-cleaning for local community over a period of ~5 months.As a team, we committed to several tasks to help support the local community whilst in the village, including the construction of A local teachers house, Decoration of a newly built orphanage, Supporting local families with an aim to improve their QoL & participating in joint activities with the local high school.
