  I provide bilingual advising and support to prospective students and families interested in UIC Business undergraduate programs. I am lead recruiter for special programs such as UIC Busines Scholars (an honors and leadership program) and both of the UIC Future Leaders in Business Programs.I continue to work with the UIC Future Leaders in Business Program for high school students in the summer since it was piloted in 2018. My role shifted from lead coordinator to college partner for administrative duties in the program. I work with the UIC CHANCE team to design the summer program curriculum, recruit participants, and deliver instruction during the summer. I am also responsible for the curriculum, planning, coordination and implementation of the UIC Future Leaders in Business Junior Program. The FLB JR Program was piloted in summer 2020, delivered virtually, for younger high school students. Show less The UIC Future Leaders in Business Program is a free, 5-week pre-college summer experience designed for exemplary rising high school seniors from traditionally underrepresented groups. Participants will engage in the following activities: academic instruction in core business areas taught by UIC Business faculty, leadership workshops, professional development classes, career exploration and readiness exercises, and team-building. This program also includes a one-week residential component in UIC Housing. -Oversee development and implementation of CHANCE’s newest pre-college summer program.-Partner with UIC College of Business to plan curriculum taught by UIC faculty.-Guide the FLB staff camp coordinators in the development and implementation process.
