  Used my own experience of mental health difficulties to change the way others think and act around mental health. In early 2018 I had a mental breakdown whilst studying law at University of Bristol and subsequently tried to take my own life...now i am a shining a light on suicide prevention.

  Use community and creativity to shine some light into someone’s day through projects, workshops and creations. Advocate sustainable mental health and wellbeing for all in the form of universal suicide prevention. Develop and deliver the above to various audiences, from schools, workplaces and festivals to community spaces; recognising nuanced barriers and challenges for different communities, in order to facilitate individual empowerment.   Developed and delivered mental health self-management and wellbeing tools in a safe and supportive learning environment for individuals who are experts in their own illness. Community outreach to pioneer locality groups to meet individual needs. Contributed to service user involvement STAR group (Shaping, Teaching and Responding). Recruited and supervised a team of volunteers. Completed a six month secondment in communications to look at the intersectionality between the beneficial use of technology & mental health.
