  As a Team Leader, I was responsible for training new members of staff to carry out the correct tasks in correspondence to a standard operating procedure, whilst overseeing the performance of employees, and providing relevant feedback and advice accordingly when required. Having worked with the same people for a length of time, I was required to adapt to the role, learning how to manage my colleagues, whilst retaining healthy relationships and adhering to my instructions from management. Working for Wetherspoon has taught me a lot about operational and human resource management strategies, and effectively sparked my initial interest for Business, as I learnt first hand the processes within the organisation, alongside second hand within college when studying my A Levels from a young age.Having worked for 4 different branches, I have learned to adapt to various working environments and people, which has meant building up trust and responsibilities, depending on the particular working style within each location.
