Responsible for enterprise-wide HSE governance activity including HSE management systems, occupational health and safety standards, environmental standards and HSE controls. Led programs and provided technical HSE and BCM support to all Novartis functions / divisions to ensure increased HSE compliance, business resiliency and preparedness to business threats. Novartis Corporate Lead for Business Continuity Management Program. Led the U.S. Country HSE Risk Management and Business Continuity Management programs and provided technical HSE support and coaching to the U.S. Novartis sites. Head of the HSE function and led staff of HSE professionals for the North American pharmaceutical manufacturing site, responsible for supplying the largest market in the organization. Successfully attained and maintained OSHA VPP Star Certification and ISO 14001 EMS Certification for the facility during time as HSE Head with noted accomplishments in HSE culture and performance turn around. Performed as a member of staff level HSE team responsible for all HSE activity at a major Novartis manufacturing facility.
