  Platform operation team is responsible for operation on virtualization layer in different locations like Singapore, London, Houston and also German locations.Under this virtualization layer team is operating CISCO, DELL and HP blades remotely in datacenters. Team has operational responsibility for around 2000-2500 blades for more than 250 customers worldwide, management servers like Control nodes, storage management servers (ASM, DFM, perfstat, cobbler). Team is providing hardware support for operation teams on our various products and platforms. The team is running a „follow the sun“ model of operation with colleagues from Malaysia and oncall coverage so the 24/7 operations is ensured. Team is also acting as an interface between operation teams and the automation engineering. Newest addition to the team portfolio is the Dinamic WorkPlace workload, where the responsibility lies on configuring CISCO UCS managers and settings UCS profiles on rack servers. Show less
