      - A global company which manufactures wood products to serve a wide variety of customers, from building and construction to other manufacturers.- I worked in the Research and Development (R&D) department, providing drafting support for newly designed roof trusses and floor joists.- I also created layout drawings to facilitate the design of the floor joists and roof trusses.- A structural engineer, John Kozal, was teaching me how to size the joists and trusses and calculate the loads, to better understand their purpose.- Build sample trusses for non-destruct and also destruct testing.- Conduct the non-destruct and destruct tests by using a series of pneumatic cylinders and a weigh cell, to determine the failure rating of the samples.
